Intersections is committed to Black Queer Mental Wellness and Healing
Intersections was built by a Black Queer Femme and centers Black Queer people.
We take a liberatory decolonial , trauma responsive, anti-oppressive, anti-racist, queer afrocentric approach to healing. We believe that helping people to heal their traumas and wounds will enable them to move towards helping to heal our communities.
Currently we offer mental health therapy services for people of all identities. Additionally, we offer education through podcast, writing, and trainings as part of our mission to facilitate wellness and healing both individually and as a community.
At Intersections we firmly believe that healing should be accessible. One of the biggest barriers to accessing mental wellness treatment is cost. We work to remove those barriers by offering flexible fees and free community programming to ensure that our services can reach those who need and want them.
